All Things Have It's Purpose
Eventually my aunt had to hop off the D train to go to work. This gave me more time to reflect in my thoughts as to what I could do to become a walking progress. The closer I was to the first stop uptown (Norwood 205th Street) the more deep I was in my thoughts. One must understand that my existence was in great jeopardy. I was put on academic dismissal. An altercation involving myself and a childhood acquaintance escalated to the point where the cops were called and we were both arrested. Not thinking about going back to school I really didn't know what direction I would go in.
If spending four years at BMCC (Borough of Manhattan Community College) didn't teach me anything, it's the ability to write about something I desire out of nothing.
Waiting for the Bx16 on the corner of Norwood I knew what I had to do. In one particular drawer in my room I had (and still have) I have nothing but pure blank composition notebooks. The first thing I said to myself was, "Well, what you waiting for? Don't let those things go to wait." I got home and the rest is history.
The first set of stories I did was titled The Masquerade. Soon after I started the You Ain't Gotta Lie series I went through some old journal of mine that I titled Notes About Nothing. Writing approximately twenty-seven journal entries I knew they needed to be shown for the world to see. Thanks to a cousin of mine (Sonovia Harmon) I decided to create a blog.
Although this is the last page of this particular blog there is still a lot more in store. From January up until this very minute now I understand the popular saying. This popular saying is quoted in places of advance learning to even places of diverse spirituality. That saying is all things have it's purpose.
No matter what happens to you or what you go through it all has it's purpose. What doesn't break you makes you. Keep on climbing towards the mountain top no matter how many rocks hit you. I encourage everyone to go into 2019 the best person they can be. Cheerio.
